Welcome to the Privacy WP website (the “Site”), which is owned by Amplify Plugins LLC (“Privacy WP”, “we”, “us”, and/or “our”). This Site has been created to provide information about our company and the digital products that we sell to our visitors (“you”, “your”). This Privacy Policy sets forth our policy with respect to information including personally identifiable data (“Personal Data”) and other information that is collected from visitors to the Site.

We ask for certain information like your name, email address, and account credentials to log into your account on this site. We use this information to let you access the products you have purchased and receive support for those products. When making a purchase on this site we may ask for certain additional information like your billing address and your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address. This information is used to assist in the prevention of fraudulent purchases.
For your convenience, we use cookies so you don’t have to login every time you visit our website. Cookies may also be used for advertising purposes.

  • Cookies: In operating the Site, we may use a technology called "cookies". A cookie is a piece of information that the computer that hosts our Site gives to your browser when you access the Site. Our cookies help provide additional functionality to the Site and help us analyze Site usage more accurately.   • License Keys: When you purchase a software product, you are given a license key, which consists of a random string of letters and numbers. We provide you with a license key in order to provide you with automatic updates of the software on your site. It is up to you whether you want to use the license key or not. The software will work as advertised without a license key activation, however you will need to manually install any updates. When you register the software with your license key, we record a few pieces of information:
    • Site URL: this is the website that the license key was registered on. Your license key may have one or more registered URLs depending on the type of license you have.
    • IP Address: The IP Address of the computer used to register the license key.
    • WordPress version: The version of WordPress that the site used to register the license key uses.
    • Date/Time: The date and time that the license was activated.
    • Computer data: Basic anonymous data about your computer’s operating system and web browser.
  • Aggregated Personal Data: In an ongoing effort to better understand and serve the users of the Privacy WP Site, we often conduct research on our customer demographics, interests and behavior based on the Personal Data and other information provided to us. This research may be compiled and analyzed on an aggregate basis, and Privacy WP may share this aggregate data with its affiliates, agents and business partners. This aggregate information does not identify you personally. Privacy WP won’t sell or rent your personal information to a third party. We use your personal information for completing a purchase, and providing you with ongoing support. We will associate certain personal information including but not limited to your name, email address, and a license key to make sure that you are a customer before providing support. If we intend to use your personal data in a way we have not mentioned, we will let you know when we collect that information.

We do aggregate user data anonymously to better understand our customers.

Privacy WP will not sell or rent to any third party any of the personal information or data that you provide to us. Privacy WP uses the Personal Data you provide in a manner that is consistent with this Privacy Policy. If you provide Personal Data for a certain reason, we may use the Personal Data in connection with the reason for which it was provided. For instance, if you contact us by email, we will use the Personal Data you provide to answer your question or resolve your problem. Also, if you provide Personal Data in order to purchase our products, we will use your Personal Data to provide you with access to such products and to monitor your use of such products. Privacy WP and its subsidiaries and affiliates (the "Privacy WP Related Companies") may also use your Personal Data and other personally non-identifiable information collected through the Site to help us improve the content and functionality of the Site, to better understand our customers and to improve the Privacy WP Site. We don't sell your personal data. If we work with partners or contractors, they may have limited access to your personal data but only to the extent required to do their job.

This privacy policy only applies to private information we collect. If you post information in a public forum, such as comments on a blog post, a review of a product, or a ticket on a support forum, this public information can be shared and reproduced.

We take steps to ensure that your private information and account credentials are safe, including encryption and requiring two-factor authentication for our staff. With that said, if you find a security problem, contact us and we will fix it as soon as possible. Keep in mind that emails and support threads are not encrypted.

If you are subscribed to our mailing list you may receive product update announcements, information about new products, or other information that may be of interest to Privacy WP users.
